RITTER^® Tool Company – your reliable partner since 1931!

Shortly after having acquired the company of his former boss, Alfred Weddigen Tool Factory,   Hugo Ritter senior founded RITTER^®  Tool Company Limited at Remscheid in 1931. Alfred Weddigen Tool Factory changed into A.W. – Successor Hugo Ritter and has been named  RITTER^® Tool Company later on.

After many intermediate stops and expansions our company moved to Wermelskirchen into our new factory and administration building in 1970. Now it has been possible to install ultra-modern machinery and automates as well as to continuously enlarge our range of products and tool manufacturing.

RITTER^®  Precision guarantees quality! Due to the application of special machines and improved designs of our engineering department we are in a position to ensure a wide vertical range of manufacture. The most important suppositions to reach customer’s satisfaction are precision, quality and reliability in addition to the flexibility of a medium-sized company. Although having a large variety of different articles, types, dimensions and customary packings (partly possible as per customer’s request) RITTER^®  is able to supply immediately ex stock or within shortest time from current production.

The well managed company has been taken over by the brothers Armin and Udo Weber in 2001. Directly after this takeover they started to modernize the company. The enlarged stock-keeping for threading tools is also involved in this modernization in order to meet customer’s demands more flexibly.

Furthermore RITTER^® Tools stand for innovative developments. RITTER^® presented a special ratchet tool holder for threading inner and outer threads with one basic tool in 1979.  RITTER^®  developed the new and meanwhile patented die stock without setting screws in 2001. This die stock was successfully introduced into the market and it represents the easy and safe handling of a long known tool.

Quite recently RITTER^® Tools have registered the trademark of their company’s name
which will again emphasize the dynamic development.
